Wireless carrier T-Mobile USA—which just months ago was pushing antitrust authorities to approve its failed deal to sell itself to AT&T Inc.—is now asking regulators to block Verizon Wireless's $3.9 billion purchase of airwave rights held by cable companies, arguing that the sale poses "a clear threat to competition."
